Can I use AcaTrove for free?
Yes. Free includes a limited research workspace, grant and career tracking, AI-assisted import workflows, and limited AI assistant trial usage.
What do I get with Plus?
Plus adds more capacity, more collaboration, sustained built-in AI assistant usage subject to fair-use limits, paper chat, multi-document synthesis, career and grant AI outputs, advanced exports, and MCP connector beta access.
Do all collaborators need paid accounts?
No. Paid plans expand workspace capacity, collaborator limits, shared lab capacity, and AI usage without forcing every collaborator to pay immediately.
How does the Lab Add-On work?
A Plus owner can add a paid lab workspace for shared projects, papers, tasks, lab context, activity history, included collaborators, and shared AI capacity.
Are MCP connectors live?
MCP connector access is available as a beta for Plus and eligible shared workspaces while we harden packaging, documentation, and client compatibility.
What happens if I stop paying?
After cancellation, the workspace moves back to free limits. Export paths remain available for core research data; contact privacy@acatrove.com if you need help with data access or deletion requests.
